Powerful, tight, intense, emotional, dynamic and amazing are just some of the adjectives that have been used to describe Kimberly Bon. "The lyrics and the music must compliment one another when telling a story". Kimberly Bon has been fronting bands for approximately 15 years. Her vocals have been compared to Joplin, Heart, Slick and Benetar. Whether opening up for the Beach Boys or Patty Smyth, lighting up the stage at Foxwoods Casino, performing at the many festivals, Kimberly always leaves the audience wanting for more. Opening up the Special Olympics with the National Anthem was a very emotional day for Kimberly whose children were participating athletes. She has performed for the Lupus Foundation, The Caroline House, LOVE16, and the Barnaba Institute. Kimberly Bon has won the Unisong Certificate of Achievement for her song, "Nothing Like Me", coming in 20th in the world at the "International Songwriting Competition. Her song, "Young & Playful" was used for the CBS television show, "Wish You Were Here". Kimberly also was seen on the television talk show, "Better Connecticut" with Scot Haney, performing the titled song from her latest CD, Kimberly Bon - "Nothing Like Me". Kimberly has also recorded with Ed Daniels on another project entitled "Vintage" She wrote the lyrics for 10 of the 12 songs on the CD and can be seen performing the title song, "Let's Talk" on Youtube. Kimberly has won the Editor's Choice Award for her poetry and is a published poet. Kimberly Bon shares her home in CT with her husband and family. She has now turned her skills into writing children's educational stories.
