Patients with cleft lip and/or palate face a huge number of problems. These patients frequently present with impaired functions and poor facial appearance. Successful management of cleft requires a multidisciplinary approach. The treatment of patients with CLP is not easy for both the orthodontist and the multidisciplinary group.
