Mixing zones can be designed by EU member states when the pollutant concentration exceeds the EQS values at effluent discharge points. MSc. Arnola Ceka a obtenu son B.S. en ingénierie environnementale à l'Université technique de Yildiz, Istanbul, Turquie, en 2005. Elle a travaillé dans un laboratoire environnemental pour son travail de thèse sur le traitement des eaux usées. Elle a obtenu son MSc. en "Pollution environnementale et évaluation des risques" de l'Université agricole suédoise, Uppsala, Suède en 2011.
