Wendy L. Brandes, an attorney, is quite familiar with the excitement, fun, adventure, trials, and tribulations of summer camp. Initially a reluctant camper, she attended summer camp in the Adirondacks for four years and sent both her son and her daughter to camp in Maine. A published legal writer, Wendy notes that she has had far more fun writing this summer camp series and reliving her days as a camper. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, her children and her dog, Louie, a black lab.
