Mityana as one of the areas in Central Uganda has over the years been riddled with cases of mob violence that do not only undermine the right to life but also the existing rule of law in the Country. Because of this, Mityana has become a source of media reports for the continuous prevalence of mob violence. This state of affairs, interested the researcher to pick interest in why this was so, in order to be able to advise those in enforcement on how best they can surmount this predicament. Qualitative and quantitative approaches were used to ensure that reliable results were established. It is hoped that the recommendations made are vital in re-directing the enforcement bodies on how best they can handle mob justice.
