Dairy Farming is one amongst the most important vocation taken up by millions worldwide. There are reports that the growth of this sector is being achieved at the cost of environment. There is an urgent need to elicit package of practices in dairying which addresses the above issue. For the dissemination of the same, ICT based mobile application was designed and developed. Six districts were selected from 33 districts of National Capital Region by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Twenty five marginalized dairy holders from each district were selected randomly. Thus, making a pool of 150 respondents. Data were collected using semi-structured and structured interview schedule which was later analyzed using apposite statistical tools. The 'Z'value for environment friendly breeding, feeding, healthcare and management practices was -8.06,-9.726,-9.220 and -10.224; respectively. Higher the magnitude of Z value (irrespective of negative sign) greater will be itssignificance level and thus showing respondents' management practices knowledge gain was maximum than other sub-components viz., breeding, feeding and healthcare.
