This study explored the potential for the adoption of mobile learning applications in the Egyptian higher education. The academic administration of any Egyptian higher education institute has no information about the level of Egyptian educational students interests in participating in mobile learning and know nothing about the standards and criteria to be administrated in building a mobile learning for education. So, the main goals for this dissertation are to investigate the attitudes of the Egyptian higher education students and to determine the standards and the criteria needed to build a mobile learning proposed model for an independent mobile learning application. The main contribution of this dissertation was investigating the actual needs and intentions of the Egyptian higher educational students towards the mobile learning and determining the standards and the criteria for the proposed mobile learning model from three main aspects.
