The present research is justified by considering the need for maintenance in this type of machinery, because without a versatile methodology for its sustainability, based on modern maintenance techniques, these could considerably impair the operation. From a theoretical perspective, this study is justified because it will allow us to investigate the different theoretical outlines that will explain the different failures in this type of machinery and could be of great help as reference material at the moment of resolving breakdowns in this type of equipment or, failing that, to optimise them.
