This book is devoted to different studies related to the phase change of the most abundant atmospheric species, carbon dioxide, on Mars. Various aspects of carbon dioxide phase change, including its annual cycle, frost cap formation, perennial ice cap mechanism, non-condensable gas foot print, and sophisticated microphysics crystal growth processes are discussed from a General Circulation Modeler s view, which focuses on the global climate and possible evolution in the past. Autorenporträt
Xin Guo was born in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. He studied space physics at Peking University and graduated with BS in 2003. He received PhD in planetary science at California Institute of Technology in 2009 before joining the Technology to Business Center of Siemens Ltd. China in Shanghai, working on venture technologies and consulting.
