The research presented in this book, the modeling and optimizing of the corrosion penetration rate of CO2 corrosion in the crude oil transport by carbon steel pipe during the period 01/1/2016 to 20/2/2017, the main of line Sarir-Tobruk during transportation operation315.6km. In the technical affairs, department-process engineering section field data have collected from Arabian Gulf Oil Company, Benghazi(Libya)that has a large network of oil and gas. Some of the variables that influence corrosion control have been known, especially in the pipeline transport process are namely pH, temperature, pressure and shear stress. The research is aimed to review some of the previous studies that are dealing with the problem is taking place when transporting the oil and gas, to investigate the effect of the oil and gas variables on the pipeline(CPR), to develop a suitable mathematical modeling technique by using Response Surface Methodology(RSM) and Fuzzy Logic(FL) to predict and model the effect of variables on the pipeline(CPR), and the methods are used to determine the optimal parameters with obtaining the optimal value of CO2 Corrosion Penetration Rate .
