About the author text: Nilesh Goel was born in India, in 1983. He received his bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Motilal Nehru NIT Allahabad, India, in 2007. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Bombay (IIT Bombay), India, in 2015. In 2007, he joined ST Microelectronics as Design Engineer, where he worked in design and development of highspeed digital protocol (HDMI). After his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, he joined SanDisk as Staff Device Engineer in 2015. At SanDisk, his primary job is to characterization and do failure analysis for NAND flash memory and qualify NAND flash for various reliability issues like program disturb, read disturb and data retention for SLC, MLC and TLC (2D and 3D NAND). He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus from July 2017. Dr. Goel has over 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and highly reputed international conferences. He had also authored/co-authored 5 book chapters in Springer series. He is Reviewer of several international journals. His current research interest is semiconductor device reliability with focus on reliability aware circuit design. Shazia Hasan was born in India, in 1980. She received her bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from UCE, Burla, India, in 2002 and Ph.D. in Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, India, in 2012. She served as a Lecturer in Silicon Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, India, from 2003 to 2010. Then, she served at ITER, Bhubaneswar as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2015. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus from 2015. Dr. Shazia Hasan won 'Young Scientist Award' from VIFRA in 2015. She is the author of several papers in peer-reviewed international/national journals and international/national conferences. She also served as a Reviewer of international journals. She organized several conference/seminars/workshops in the past. Her research interest includes digital signal processing, biomedical signal processing, and statistical filter design. She successfully completed the industrial consultancy project from 'Star Cement' as Principal Investigator. Dr. V. Kalaichelvi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus. She received her Ph.D. degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University in the year 2007. She has 16 years of teaching experience at Annamalai University, India. She is working with BITS, Pilani Dubai Campus since 2008. She has taught many courses and guided many research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has her research work published in refereed international journals and many international conferences. Her research area of expertise includes process control, control systems, neural networks, fuzzy logic,genetic algorithm, control system aspects applied to robotics, mechatronics. She has acted as Reviewer in the International Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Energy and Power Engineering, USA. She is currently an Editorial Board Member in the Journal of Instrumentation Technology and Innovations. She has also reviewed many papers in international conferences and journals. She is also a Faculty In-charge for IFOR team (Intelligent Flying Object for Reconnaissance), and it is a robotics team which is involved in doing R&D in aerial robotics. She is guiding students in the area of intelligent control systems applied to robotics field.
