The active emergence of startups in the SDN field is spurred in part by the rapid growth of venture capital investment. In five years - from 2007 to 2012 - the volume of venture capital investments has grown more than 45 times: from $10 million to $454 million. Leading analytical agencies such as Gartner and IDC give the market of SDN-solutions at least 60% growth per year at an average growth rate of IT-industry in 10-12%. Therefore, studies related to the analysis of the state of affairs in the development and implementation of SDN networks are relevant.
