As nature is a vast reservoir of substances there is a lot of opportunity and space for the chemist to satisfy their thirst. The story of chemistry is the story of materials, discoveries, properties and applications which led to the development and manufacture of life saving drugs, food,fertilizer, polymer, optical fibers, nanotechnology and new engineering technologies which supports day to day human life on earth.
