Autorenporträt
Jean-Marie Basset is presently Scientific Director at the Ecole Superieure de Chimie Physique Electronique. His main research interests are the relations between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, the metathesis of olefins and alkanes as well as the Ziegler-Natta depolymerization. He received many national and international awards and is member of the Académie des Sciences (since 2002).

Rinaldo Psaro became Research Director of the Italian National Research Council in Milan. He is author of 2 international patents and ca. 150 papers on internatinal journals on the field of surface organometallic chemistry, catalyst characterization and heterogeneous catalysis.

Dominique Roberto is Full Professor for General and Inorganic Chemistry. She is Member of the Directive Council of the Centre of Excellence CIMAINA (Interdisciplinary Centre for Nanostructured Materials and Interfaces) in Milan. Her current research interests cover molecular engineering and nanoorganization of organometallic compounds with electric or non-linear optical properties and surface organometallic chemistry. She is author of 80 publications on highly qualified international journals.

Renato Ugo is Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry (since 1973) and General and Inorganic Chemistry (since 1981). He received various prizes and medals (Bracco-Salata, 1963; Stampacchia, 1965; Miolati, 1987; Gold medal of the President of the Italian Republic for advancement in science, 2000; Pino medal, 2006). Since 1984 he is a member of the "Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei" and President of AIRI (Italian Association of Industrial Research). He was Editor of a Series of Advances on "Aspects of Homogeneous Catalysis" and Co-Editor with Brian James (University of Vancouver) of a Series on "Homogeneous Catalysis in Inorganic and Organic Chemistry".
