Better known in the history of Brazilian literature by the name of Augusto dos Anjos (1884-1914), the "son of carbon and ammonia", born in the Paud'arco Mill, in Paraíba, an innovative poet and owner of his own poetics, broke with literary tradition by using transgressive themes (death, horror, putrefaction) and doing so through a linguistic elegance that legitimised him as a great poet.
