The study addresses the evolution of contraceptive use in Kenya over a 12 year period and the challenges women face in accessing reproductive health services in a society where population growth is outpacing social and economic growth. Dr. Diana Opollo is the Director of Industrial Linkages and Placements and a Senior Lecturer at the Management University of Africa (MUA) in Nairobi, Kenya. She obtained a BA in psychology, MSW and PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research and teaching interests are Gender studies and Reproductive Health among others.
