This book report a research that investigated the existing African bush mango cracking machine. The cracker was designed for batch operation; the designed was complex, expensive with low output capacity and low efficiency. The modified machine addressed the above mentioned challenges and evaluated with respect to throughput capacity and cracking efficiency at five different moisture content levels (13%, 15%, 17%, 20% and 25%) M.C(dry basis). The investigation showed that moisture content is a dominant factor affecting the effectiveness of the machine. Based on the results obtained, drudgery and other hazards associated with manual cracking of the African bush mango were eliminated, the machine saves time and made processing of the seeds easier.
