In Congolese tradition, the child is a symbol of society that needs to be protected. The child is a social helper, as recognized and promulgated by the President of the Republic through his actions to promote free education. The Phenomenon child in street situation, is the one who has chosen, the street as his real home (in the broadest sense of the word) more than the family has become his real home, where there is no protection, nor supervision, nor direction of responsible adults ". The French encyclopedia dictionary defines a street child as any person who has not reached adulthood, and for whom the street has become the habitual and average abode of existence. When a child is in difficulty, and especially when he or she is in a chronic condition, it causes a major upheaval in the lives of the parents and the whole family.
