Le Dr Bleiblo a obtenu son doctorat en sciences biomoléculaires à l'Université Laurentienne/Canada. Il est actuellement professeur associé de biologie moléculaire et de virologie à l'Université de Benghazi/Libye. Farag a obtenu une subvention de renforcement des capacités de recherche du NSREC pour l'excellence de sa recherche et une bourse canadienne pour étudiants. En tant que chercheur, il a publié de nombreux travaux.
