In this fictional piece by Cash Onadele (Aiyeko-ooto), we find that in the rain forests, among Yoruba people, they have a saying - "aajo ju owo loo" (care is greater than money). There, politics kept them in darkness, centuries behind the clock of modern times. Strangely, it was there that Mojisola was planted, in a career that took her to their homes and hearts. A decade ago, she lost her first chance at love and motherhood. Now, the pandemic struck, a global lockdown was imposed. She managed the Pandemic Isolation Center and had to make a crucial life and death decision. Does this lead to depression, death or a new path to love? What do we learn of power, corruption, love, death and morality in this short story?
