Today Microbial engineering become a major part of chemical engineering course in MIT- USA and other developed countries. Developed countries have already recognized the enormous potentialities of microbes in pioneering the engineering and scientific innovations. Prof. Louise Pasteur once said.." not to underestimate the power of microbes". So it is essential that all scientists and engineers should know microbes at molecular and engineering boundaries.

The author was born in Brahmanbaria,01-11-1946., completed his double Graduations, post Graduation in Science, 1966 CU, Science and Engineering, in TUBerlin, 1975, completed his Dr.research in MPI Germany 1984. Since 1986-he is fully engaged in Teach &Res in IIT, JU, IGE,Badu, visited USA, CANADA, EUROPE,pub.100 articles,2 books on ChE and Biotech.
