Lesions of clear cell is being classified under various headings under different categories. Clear cell tumors of the oral mucosa, jaws, and salivary glands constitute a heterogeneous group of lesions and may be either salivary gland, odontogenic, or metastatic in origin. Special stains and molecular analysis proved to be a mandatory tool for the diagnosis of lesions having clear cells of varied origin. Thus this review of clear cells concluded by saying that Clear cell lesions are an unidentifiable kind of neoplasms which represent a new type of lesions.
