The book is devoted to the original concept of the information field (IF) of a molecule developed by the authors, which opens a new view of a molecule as an object forming information in the surrounding space. In this regard, the concept of IP goes beyond chemistry and can be applied to any object (physical body). However, the authors are professional organic chemists and therefore focused their attention on fundamental aspects of molecular structure and its influence on the properties of organic compounds within the framework of QSAR/QSPR models, using the possibilities of the developed FE concept. It should be especially emphasized that the proposed concept does not use any esoteric theories, supernatural phenomena and the like. Our FE concept is based only on natural-scientific ideas, which are based on Shannon's probabilistic approach to measuring the amount of information. The main objective of our book is to show the possibilities of the developed FE concept for solving a variety of chemical problems. Given the universality of our concept, we hope that specialists of other fields will be able to transform our ideas for their problems where other (non-molecular) objects are considered.
