Autorenporträt
Hidden Bear is an indigenous poet and artist who is enrolled in the Mechoopda Indian Tribe of Chico Rancheria in Northern California. He currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and children. He began writing poetry in middle school and in 2019 created Hidden Bear, a name under which he began publishing his work. He pen name is inspired by his journey to embrace his indegeneity and his love for the extinct California Grizzly.
