Emma Chen is an Assistant Professor of Children's and Young Adult Literature at Western Washington University. She and her family enjoyed six wonderful years in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she was inspired to create this debut title based on a personal experience with her daughter. Sean Huang is an artist from Regina, Saskatchewan. This is his third book. Red Deer Press is delighted to have Sean's work on this picture book, following in the footsteps of his father, artist Zhong Yang Huang (who, in 2002, illustrated Courage to Fly, written by Troon Harrison, for Red Deer Press).
