Autorenporträt
Kathy Henderson Pass, a teacher and watercolor artist, wrote and illustrated Mom And Dad Plus Baby Loon for her four young grandchildren. Pass and her family spend vacations on a lake in New Hampshire where they enjoy watching the comings and goings of a loon family and listening to their melodious calls. Other residents on the lake share their enthusiasm and enjoyment of the beautiful, contented birds. Pass writes in a rhyming form because it is pleasurable to listener and reader alike. Her bold color palette and drawing style are meant to appeal especially to a young audience. Kathy and her husband, Len, live in the Old Saybrook, Connecticut home where they raised their three children
