The goal of this book is to provide a positive relationship to a working mother's career and help children connect the two roles: Mother and professional (Project Manager).? Additionally, the intent of the book is to have a story that parents will enjoy reading for their children.? And finally, It has vibrant illustrations that bring the concepts to life and children will enjoy it visually.? Through the main character's eyes, to see examples of a Project Manager's main duties and the role of a working mother's daily life.

Mei Lin is a multilingual Six Sigma Lean Black Belt, PMI-certified Project Manager (PMP, ACP, PBA) who helps companies meet their goals. She successfully executes plans by being efficient, resourceful, and results-driven. She has proof, too. For a decade now, she's consistently delivered and implemented global projects for diverse industries. In her current role as a project manager for the City of Plano, Mei helps the City meet its technology strategic goals. People appreciate her tenaciousness and admire her enthusiasm. In both Mei's career and personal life, her drive to improve her skills and apply new techniques to what she does shows up. She holds dual bachelor degrees in Law and Social Work from National Taipei University in Taiwan, her home country. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a degree she earned after she emigrated to the U.S. in 2008. Mei has actively served her community in many ways: ¿ Since 2017, she's been a Vice President of Programs for the PMI Dallas Chapter. ¿ Since 2014, she's been an active member of Toastmasters International, where she has served in a variety of leadership roles. ¿ She's an active member of the Richardson Citizens Fire Department Alumni Association. From 2016 to 2017, she served as Vice President; between 2018 and 2019, she was a board member. ¿ Between 2014 and 2017, she was a Heartsaver and Basic Life Support instructor with the American Heart Association. When Mei isn't working or volunteering, she is probably running her next marathon or cuddling with her son, Blake. Mei resides with her family in Plano, Texas USA.
