Autorenporträt
TANIKA is a practicing communications professional with over 17 years in the field. For much of those 17 years, a large part of her duties involved writing content for various audiences. Writing about her daughters' escapades was something she always thought of doing - especially when the girls were younger - but for one reason or another, never got around to it. Hailing from Jamaica, Tanika, her husband, Marlon, and their two daughters, Kaliah and Asara, migrated to Canada in 2016 and found the journey filled with ups, downs, highs and lows. Her time in Canada and the experiences her family encountered along the way inspired her to start writing and chronicling their journey.
