Tierra Monet is a new writer of children's books. After being inspired by her real-life pet dog, Moose, and her personal struggles she aspired to bring awareness to mental illness through the use of happy, entertaining characters in the way of written word. She has struggled with mental illness since her youth and has dedicated her time to educating herself and others on mental health topics. Whether that be through her Non-Profit Burn Away Your Burdens, or through her characters Mousse and Monae, Tierra always aims to bring more awareness to mental illness.
