Autorenporträt
Yangdon Dhondup, Ph.D. (2004) in East Asian Literature, University of London, is currently a Research Associate at the School of Oriental & African Studies. Her research interests include Tibetan biographical literature, history of the Nyingma school in east Tibet and Sino-Tibetan borderland culture and history. Ulrich Pagel, PhD. (1993) in Buddhist Studies (University of London) is Reader in the Languages and Religions of Tibet and Central Asia at the School of Oriental and African Studies. He has published on Mahāyāna Buddhism (1994, 2006, 2007) and more recently in the field of vinaya studies (2012). Geoffrey Samuel is a Professor at Cardiff University, Wales, UK. His academic career has been in social anthropology and religious studies, and his books include Mind, Body and Culture (1990), Civilized Shamans (1993), Tantric Revisionings (2005) and The Origins of Yoga and Tantra (2008).
