Mango (Mangifera indica Linnaeus) is known as king of fruits in India and is considered as one of the most delicious, exotic, nutritious and attractive fruit. This fruit is recognized as a good source of -carotene, vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, nutritive minerals, digestive sugars and trace elements. However, insect pest problem is one of the major limiting factors in mango production.
