The Albanian literature written in the Arabic-Ottoman alphabet, sometimes referred to as "Alamiad", "Baytajies" and "Eastern influx", or "creativity", has not taken the place in Albanian literature. It has been marginalized for decades and with no exceptions that has been done recently, however, it has not taken the place where it really should have been. Why was this literature marginalized and such marginalization still persists? First, it must be said that the greatest blow to this literature was, without doubt, the communist system, which ruled for half a century. Art under dictatorship was anathematized.

Prof. Dr. Muhamed Mustafi is from Macedonia and finished Arabic language and literature at Damascus University in 1991 and now is Associate Prof. of Albanian and Phonetic and Morphology of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences in Skopje, Macedonia.The author is a well known translator and researcher in different Islamic topics.
