Autorenporträt
Nach einer eher stürmischen Abiturzeit mitten in der DDR-Wende und der folgenden Wiedervereinigung studierte die Autorin in Münster und dann in Eichstätt Mittelalterliche Geschichte, Kirchengeschichte, Kunstgeschichte und ein wenig Romanistik und Theologie, um das Bild abzurunden. Ihr Lieblingsforschungsgebiet war schon damals der Templerorden. Im 'Endzeitjahr' 2000 promovierte sie in Mittelalterlicher Geschichte. 2008 veröffentlichte sie ihren ersten Roman über den Untergang des Templerordens - ein Gegenstand, an dem sie auch wissenschaftlich arbeitet (www.templerlexikon.uni-hamburg.de). Nach ihrem letzten Roman, der im Alten Ägypten spielt, wandte sie sich der Sparte Action-Drama zu.
