Moon Over The Western Bridge is the story of a sharp young Chicago ad man, Justin Pratt who is sent on an unlikely journey to find the composer and producer of a song written over fifty years ago by Daniel Webster "Griff" McGraw. McGraw has settled into the life of a recluse in a cabin at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Pratt's firm needs the song, Moon Over The Western Bridge for a prominent client to use in a commercial. From a one-night stand to a long lost aunt, Justin has to wonder what surprises his eventual meeting with McGraw will hold. The negotiations for the song rights end up revealing a lot about who Justin was and who he had become during his journey. The destinations that Justin land in turn out to be characters themselves, from Clifty Falls State Park in southern Indiana to the Dollywood Theme Park to the climatic grandeur awaiting at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Pratt's eventual antagonist, McGraw proves himself to be enigmatic. He's been a songwriter, producer, military man and mountain man. But foremost, he is a family man, a faithful husband, a devoted father and grandfather. When he lost his si
