Autorenporträt
Melissa Lee has been a passionate chef, caterer, artist and author for most of her life. Her career in the food industry includes a successful catering business in New York City, a four star restaurant in the Colorado wine country, and an authentic New York style deli in Florida. As one of the first "farm to table" chef's in Colorado, Melissa introduced her many customers to seasonal eating, "made from scratch" slow food. She attributes her inspiration to Alice Waters, famous chef in Berkeley, California and owner of Café Fanny and Chez Panisse. Melissa now makes her home across the pond from the food mecca of New Orleans, Louisiana. She lives on a beautiful country property with her family, two dogs and two cats. Her motto has always been "life is but a dream" and Melissa is making her dreams come true!
