Melody Lockhart is an English author of children's fantasy. She has a vibrant imagination and an irrepressible sense of humor, and her stories for young readers are known for their smart and relatable female leads. Melody's popular Magical Rescue Vets series tells the story of two best friends who stumble across a magical forest packed with strange creatures. Her follow-up series, Oakleaf Academy, is about big adventures at a tiny boarding school ... which is to say, an academy for fairies! Luna Valentine is a Polish illustrator living in Nottingham, United Kingdom. At Nottingham Trent University, she studied graphic design and went on to finish a master's in illustration. When she's not drawing, Luna loves to spend time with her animals, a good book, and a cup of tea.
