Chaplain (Major) James F. Linzey is a decorated member of the United States Army chaplaincy. His personal experiences as the supervising chaplain of the largest mobilization and demobilization in US in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom led him to put together a team of military chaplains to produce and become the bestselling author of the Modern English Version Bible. In his twelve years of active duty, and twelve years in the Reserves, he served in support of Operation Desert Storm and Operation Noble Eagle, in support of the missions in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Israel, and Iraq, and as the first full time chaplain at the Leader's Training Course at the US Army Cadet Command at Fort Knox, KY.
