Author Maggie Shaw creates her stories from her many and varied life experiences. She wrote the Teddies of Rosehill Cottage tales after being inspired by the real life stories of how her husband's collection of teddies came to reside in their Cheshire home. She has linked up with the Crewe-based charity Hopes and Beams to use the sales of the Teddies of Rosehill Cottage books to help raise funds for their work with disadvantaged young people. This is the eleventh book Maggie has published through micropublisher Eregendal. Her other titles are The Vision and Beyond (2018), Diviner's Nemesis I: Avenger (2019), Diviner's Nemesis II - Retribution (2020), The Eagle and The Butterfly (2020), The Last Thursday Ritual in Little Piddlington (2021), The Eagle and The Raven (2021), Waiting for the Dawn - Poetry from the depths to the light (2022), The Teddies of Rosehill Cottage (2022), The Eagle and the Hart (2022), Like a Shadow the Night - Poems of love, loss and consolation (2023). She has broadcast music and short stories on Radio Carlisle, Cat Radio, and Red Shift Radio; and contributed articles to The St Raphael's Guild Chrism, The Chronicle, The Church of England Newspaper, and Soul and Spirit Magazine.
