The sun over Thebes witnesses Queen Ahura giving birth to her daughter, Neter-Tua . . . and witnesses another of royal blood giving birth, too -- to a boy, Rames, who becomes Neter-Tua's companion and playmate. Yet a third is born, too, at the same time -- the Ka, or Double, of Neter-Tua -- destined to be her defender in the turbulent times to come -- times of danger and war, and of forbidden love!
