Claudia Chianese and her husband retired to Florida in 2008, and she began writing behind closed doors. After reading a newspaper ad for Florida Writers Association, she was inspired to attend the City Island Library in Daytona Beach where she learned to write and started blogging. Three of her short stories, Acerbic, Wheels of Circumstance and First Step Back have been published in Florida Writer Association's anthology collections. Claudia graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from SUNY Oneonta in 1970 and has a master's degree in education from CUNY Herbert H. Lehman College. She recognizes this is a different time in her life and has embraced writing. She blogs at claudiajustsaying.com. Morningside Drive is her first novel. But a second novel is dancing around her mind.
