Moroccanization and Politics of Change is a Book that tried to explore in detail, political parties and civil society groups' efforts to elucidate state of democracy in Morocco as well as Maghreb sub-region. The techniques used by the Moroccan authorities together with foreign pro-democracy, mostly non-profit organizations, to ensure that the condition of human rights is somehow improved. In this respect, the inner structure of the Moroccan political parties is drawn out not just to provide snapshot of the party system in the country, but also to make the situation and degree of Moroccan democratic transition much comprehensible. The book however, introduced many ideas, political terminologies and spectrum that adumbrated the real circumstantial relations between Moroccan monarchy and the political parties including the Islamist and the secular ones make it easy to examine how much Moroccan regime is moderate. More or so, this brought about the exclusive engagement of civil society organizations throughout Moroccan transitional processes.

I have my B.A Degree from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto in 2004; Master¿s Degree in Politics and International Relationsfrom the IIU Islamabad, 2007, and Ph.D. in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India in 2014. I am teaching in the Department of Political Science, Sokoto State University since 2015.
