Culex quinquefasciatus is a real public health problem because of the diseases it transmits but especially because of their nuisance (biting, buzzing). The strategy of mosquito control by the Suneem 1% is a good way to fight effectively against these diseases. It is in this context that this book was written with the objective of effectively controlling mosquitoes through the use of biopesticides such as Suneem. To achieve this goal, 3500 eggs of C. quinquefasciatus corresponding to several trays were treated with different volumes of Suneem 1% (0.01 ml, 0.02 ml, 0.03 ml, 0.04 ml, 0.05 ml,…mehr

To achieve this goal, 3500 eggs of C. quinquefasciatus corresponding to several trays were treated with different volumes of Suneem 1% (0.01 ml, 0.02 ml, 0.03 ml, 0.04 ml, 0.05 ml, 0.06 ml) and a control box (20 ml of distilled water) Also, 3000 larvae of all stages were treated with concentrations of Suneem 1% (2mg/l, 4 mg/l, 6 mg/l, 8 mg/l; 10 mg/l; 12 mg/l; 14 mg/l; 16 mg/l, 18 mg/l to 20 mg/l). The results showed very significant mortalities as a function of time. The larvae, after a few hours of treatment, were analyzed by the microscopy technique. They showed a total destruction of their digestive tract. Suneem is therefore effective against mosquitoes.
