Academician, writer Sead Mahmutefendi¿, (Sarajevo, 1949) graduated from elementary school in Konjic and high school in Konjic (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He studied literature and languages in Belgrade. He was a teacher of native languages and Latin. Published a large number of novels, collections of stories, essays, columns and reviews of literary works. He is the author of 40 books, translated into ten world languages, of which the largest number is in English. His novel "The Golden Legend and the Flowers of Sanctity" was declared Best Seller for February 2020.
