The all-time theme of familial relationships has dominated the literary and media landscape for centuries. The unanswered question boggling the relationship between mothers-in-law and their daughters-in-law is: "What is this conflict about, and how can it be resolved?" With illustrations from Mother in-Law, a programme aired by Citizen TV in Kenya, the author discusses the intrigues that define relationships between and among family members. This is an enlightening life experience that is clearly brought out in a content analysis research that is a must read to all current and potential mothers-in-law/daughters-in-law.
