Life is a beautiful compilation of cells and soul, DNA and destiny, electrical impulses and spiritual essence through which God's purpose prevails. But many of us are overwhelmed with life's challenges, and try to find meaning in the madness. In Motherhood, Medicine, and Mayhem, Dr. Carmen Teague shares candid and humorous stories of juggling life as a physician, a mother, and a woman seeking God's heart, and shows how the plans we make for ourselves are often an exercise in futility. The much sought-after balance between work, motherhood, and marriage, she finds is a myth! Through pregnancies, adoptions, career changes, mission work, and more, she has had to relearn Proverbs 19:21: Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. Dr. Carmen Teague shows us that life is often messy, but you can find purpose in the pandemonium, healing in the hurt, and hope with the help of faith. ¿
