Autorenporträt
Raven is the pen name of Rose Avent, DC-based writer and poet currently living in Arlington, VA. Her poems have appeared in Georgetown University Lombardi Voices (2022, 2023, 2024). Rose was selected as a winner in the Moving Words Poetry contest (2022). Her winning poem was riding around on Buses in Arlington. She is an active member of Spellbinders, a national organization that promotes oral storytelling across generations.
