The stories we share about motherhood shape and unite us. They are powerful and transformative. But what happens when motherhood isn't what you expected? When you find yourself faced with unimagineable trauma, chronic pain and relentless addiction? Autorenporträt
Tina is an author, yoga and meditation teacher, medical intuitive and retreat leader. Tina spent the first 15 years of her working life in high pressure fast-paced roles within the medical industry. At age 31 Tina became a mother to two children in the space of one year. Tina's entry into motherhood was marked by a quick return to work, followed by burnout, shingles and the development of an opioid addiction to manage the subsequent Post Herpetic Neuralgia (a chronic pain condition). These events pushed Tina to embark on a yoga journey to reconnect with her intuition and foster self acceptance, self healing and ultimately recovery. Her first book, 'Mother's Medicine': The Birth of my Intuition' is a memoir about this experience. Tina now uses her own experience to assist mothers to uncover and release subconscious fears that drain their energy and prevent them from reaching fulfilment. Tina regularly hosts yin yoga classes and spiritual retreats and offers private one-on-one coaching.
