Kim Johnson, licensed clinical social worker, spent years assisting children and families through sexual abuse incidents. She has interviewed countless mothers whose children have been molested, as well as adults who were molested as children, and even the sexual perpetrators themselves. This book represents her ten years of efforts to understand all sides of sexual child abuse, why it happens, why some mothers turn a blind eye to it, and how mothers can come together to fight the battle against sexual child abuse to break dysfunctional family cycles, provide safe environments for their children, and live lives of hopes for their children's futures.
