Students pursuing graduate studies at the master's level in Panama, their level of English proficiency is linked to an international standard that describes the linguistic ability in reading, writing, listening comprehension and oral expression. According to the results of the survey applied to the population under study, 51% are at a basic level (A1-A2), 16% at an intermediate level (B1), 12% at a beginner level (A0) and only 4% at an advanced level (C1-C2). These results demonstrate the inadequacy of English among students pursuing various master's degrees. It is evident that 80% of the master's students need to raise their level of proficiency in the language. For this reason, the "motivating images" teaching method is proposed to improve the English proficiency level of master's students in Panama. In terms of methodology, this is an exploratory ex post facto research with a mixed approach, field design and non-experimental character. The population consisted of 65 master students, 11 teachers and the teacher who created the method. As for the techniques, two surveys and an interview were applied.
