Produktbeschreibung
This book is the result of a Final Year research project at the State University of Maringá, in the Physical Education course. With the theme: "Motivation and Quality of Life in Bodybuilding Practitioners", the study aims to analyse the relationship between motivation and quality of life in bodybuilding. A total of 149 bodybuilders from gyms in the city of Maringá-PR took part in the study. Based on the data collected, it can be concluded that extrinsic motivational factors are essential for the practice of bodybuilding in these subjects, as well as the practice was motivated by a more self-determined behaviour, and this may be related to a better quality of life. As practical implications, this research has potential for physical education professionals who work with bodybuilding, suggesting that they seek to direct their students' goals and encourage pleasurable practical experiences in order to encourage intrinsic motivation factors. Thus, the study is interesting not only forprofessionals, but also for Physical Education academics, and could open up space for further research in the area.
